When studying for a year or more in our long-term program, you will have the opportunity to not only improve your language skills, but also grow as a person through experiencing Japanese culture and involving yourself at the community level. In addition to providing you with the necessary guidance and support to enter a Japanese university or graduate school, you will be able to acquire the Japanese ability that will allow you to see your future clearly.
Our Academic year program has 5 courses, listed below, and you will be able to improve your Japanese as a result of taking over 7 60 class hours a year. We also have elective classes for student who are not seeking further education, but want to concentrate on improving their language skills.

* The placement test results determine whether you can join the morning class or the afternoon class.
Students can start the classes on their level from April, July, October or January at their choice. There are 5 courses and more than 760 hours of classes a year and the students will be able to acquire enough Japanese language skill.
2.There are classes of 8 different levelsThere are 8 levels of classes from beginner 1 to advanced 2 and student will be able to study on their level without pushing themselves too hard.
3.Adoption of the “direct method”We adopt the “direct method” which teaches Japanese only in Japanese to enhance the ability to think in Japanese and to make it helpful in the practical use of Japanese. Instructor will use pictures, photos, images or sometimes performance to make the class more enjoyable.
4.Many cultural experiences and exchange classesWe have a various cultural experiences such as Kimono, Calligraphy, watching Kabuki or Sumo-wrestling and Japanese culinary class. Also we have various exchanges with local students and people. There will also be a lecture held by local professor.
5.Introduction of elective coursesWe offer various elective courses such as exam preparatory class, business conversation class and students will be able to take them upon their request. Also students who wish to seek for higher education or to find an employment in Japan will be able to take interview preparatory class.
